get out
getting up, getting out and getting back on my feet took me some time at first. the fear I felt going out to a restaurant, wondering if I would have something to eat and wondering how close I was to the nearest bathroom and/or my apartment. fears that I still feel at times, but fortunately mostly have subsided.
get out! be social, be seen and be positive. you will be able to eat in both gluten free restaurants and regular ones. there is an increasing amount of knowledge around celiac disease and gluten free diet requirements in the restaurant industry. there also are a ton of great gluten free snacks and drinks out there!
stick with me! you'll see it does get easier and I will continue to help you get to that positive and healthy place!
